BCD Property was engaged to manage the design, permit, take down and rebuild of this home located in Westchester County, NY. The project was particularly rewarding as during the design and build process a decision was made to utilize a hybrid stick and modular approach. The entire demolition and framing, electrical and plumbing process was performed seamlessly by hand while we awaited our new second floor addition that was installed in one day on top of our fully renovated basement and first floor shell. This project was technically complex but came together seamlessly. The before and after pictures while dramatic don’t tell the full story as this project was completed during one of the worst periods in our modern history – the Covid 19 global pandemic. BCD Property expertly navigated the complexities of a hybrid design and build in a never before seen environment where the whole world was forced to shut down for month(s). The project was completed on time and on budget and the ultimate sale was marked as the highest per square foot sale price at the time in this entire market segment (Hawthorne, NY submarket – 2020).
